Me and my work

Lisa Rader: I live in Broad Ripple, Indiana with my husband and children. I love the Village with its friendly, artsy feel, eclectic mix of people and variety of things to do.

If you haven't already guessed, I carve porcelain tiles. I create molds from these carvings and I hand press each one after that. Porcelain clay is very durable and really shows off the glazes that I use. They have a nice depth to them and are very luminous. My tiles can be mounted on walls, framed, displayed on stands, placed in groupings or used for backsplashes or fireplaces.

Colors

I have 4 main colors that I use on my tiles (although I can do custom colors and I am always working new colors) They are: Turquoise, Light Turquoise, Delft Blue and Dark Green.

Chimes

These popular chimes are great to have both inside and outside the home. Hang by a door, window or on the porch. The solid brass bells create a beautiful sound in the yard too. Hang from a tree by the deck. Orange is a fun optional color for the dove.
